e-bikes FTW

When is this trend reaching the tipping point? They're kinda weird looking, but environmental friendly. And supposedly there are over 100 million electric bikes in China, 4 times more than cars to be exact.

They're not supercheap, and the batteries cost a lot, but one battery should take you to the office and back for three years or so... (you do need to recharge it once in a while though).

I'd like to try one, although it would make me feel kinda granny.

They're making a chinese version of the iPhone, it's a bit fatter and uglier and doesnt work that well, but it's way more cheaper and looks the same if don't come too close to it. They just call it "HiPhone"
