Root Down

I wanted to catch the 90's rap production aesthetics with this beat. Sampled and slightly distorted drum loops and very minimal use of melodic instruments, keeping it simple and a bit dirty. Once I completed the track it was quite obvious that I should use my all time favourite rappers, Beastie Boys on this. Ok, the original is hard to compete with, having Jimmy Smith samples and all, but give it a try.

Havanna 5-0

HennyMan strikes again! This is the theme from "Havanna 5-0" tv series concept that stars latin tempered undercover cops who are fighting against crime on the streets of Havanna and occasionally dreaming of surfing the big wave. It's a boogaloo & latin funk inspired piece with some old skools hip hop breakbeat. HAVANNA 5-0

Some Glad Morning

Another track from HennyMan. This one's titled Some Glad Morning and it's a midtempo R&B track. Having Drake and/or Kendrick Lamar to feat on this one would hurt no one.

Triangle Of Evil

I think that hating Nickelback is ok. But people often forget that there are at least two bands who should also be labeled as potentially hazardous to your ears.

1) Creed 2) Daughtry And here's a NB song to remind you. And because we rock Finland, we're not gonna start with Sunrise Avenue, although they don't stand too far from this crowd.

Shaded Rooms

Year 2015 brings the first tune from HennyMan in a while. This time a track that's a well bodied and a tasty coctail of softrock, disco & electro. It is somewhere in between of Eagles, Kraftwerk & Chromeo. With a clear schlager feel to it. This is the instrumental version with some additional melodies to spice it up. Vocal version should come later this year, let's hope Glenn Frey can find the time to drop by at the Staten Island Studios.
