Root Down

I wanted to catch the 90's rap production aesthetics with this beat. Sampled and slightly distorted drum loops and very minimal use of melodic instruments, keeping it simple and a bit dirty. Once I completed the track it was quite obvious that I should use my all time favourite rappers, Beastie Boys on this. Ok, the original is hard to compete with, having Jimmy Smith samples and all, but give it a try.
